Went to sea as a Deck Cadet in 1967
Promoted through the ranks until 1988 when I was promoted Master
Continued at Sea as Master / Captain in Command for the next 20 years
Retired at age 60 to seek new pastures and opportunities and to be with my family
Married to Sheila in 1978
Sheila is a Practice Nurse in the local community. She qualified RGN at Edinburgh.
We have two Children, Caroline and Malcolm.
Caroline is an Assistant Consultant in Investment Management.
Malcolm is a Management Accountant with a local Company.
Malcolm married Jo in 2007. Our Grand Daughter - Megan was born 11th December 2009.
We maintain a menagerie consisting of Pepper the Beagle, Pringle the Ginger Tom, Phelix the Black & White Tom - who invited himself in, many many fish and half of the wild birds in Hampshire.
We all live near each other in Fareham, Hampshire, UK, where our Children grew up.
